I Hate Nature Photography

Photos from a recent trip to Salt Lake City.

Ok, I hate it because I find it so difficult to shoot. Now, people shooting
is easy there's always a great story or emotion to carry the photo. But
hats off to great nature/landscape photographers who have the patience to
capture that great moment.

Capturing that great moment is the key to all great photography. Whether
it's a peak moment in sports, a telling gesture in portraits, or that
timeless historical moment. Nature/landscape photography is no different.
Think about Ansel Adams, who would spend days coming back to the same spot
waiting for the stars (moon) to align.
