The extraction of bitumen in the Alberta North really is a tech marvel. And it may be the the biggest industrial operation ever taken on. I embrace technology and human progress. The preference being the latter. 

I admit I've had hesitation about this post. I've held on to these images for several months, not knowing how I would present or speak about them. But I think it's important that my family and friends get a better look at what is happening in our great province. And that they realize that there are many factors at play in this wonderful, bio diverse, economical boom of a region. The region called the Wood Buffalo Region. So, here are some of the photos from the operations around Fort McMurray and my visit to Fort Chipewyan.
